Close trade relations between Ukraine and China started in 2012, when China took the 12th place among trading partners of Ukraine. For the last few years the cooperation has grown considerably. Last year the number of exports to China has doubled, and in 2019 the growth reached 63%.
The possibilities of strengthening the relations between countries, perspectives of pea import from Ukraine to China and a number of other important issues have been discussed during online conference Ukraine-China: Future of the Trade. Pulses. Grains. Oil-yielding crops, which took place on 18th May 2021.
This conference was supported by the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine and China Chamber of Commerce for Foodstuffs and Native Produce (CFNA).
