On August 16, 2018, the Ukrainian-Emirates Business Forum within a framework of the third session of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Emirates Commission on the issue of trade and economic cooperation was held in the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Public Association “Community of Pulse Producers and Customers of Ukraine” took part in the forum, as it cooperated with the UAE in the sphere of pulse crops, and it plans to visit the exhibition GulFood 2019 which will take place in February in Dubai, the UAE.
On June 06-09, 2018, the 30th International Agro-Industrial Exhibition “AGRO 2018” was held in the National Complex “Expocentre of Ukraine”, Kyiv. This is the most grand-scale agricultural exhibition in Ukraine and in the Eastern Europe where 1,300 participants from 15 countries of the world take place.
It has already become a tradition to conduct the Field Day in July at the farm of Don A.F. in the village of Teplyk, Cherkasy region.
We continue the season of summer events in the sphere of pulses, so today we will tell you about the Field Day, which was held on June 26 in the village of Ksaverivka-2, Vasylkiv district, Kyiv region on the ground of the Exhibition and Innovation Centre of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

On March 16, 2018 the international conference KazGrain 2018, organized by the information agency “APK – Inform” and Agro Industriia KZ, took place in Astana (Kazakhstan).
On March 02, 2018, the Board of Public Association “Community of Pulse Producers and Customers of Ukraine” (SPPBU) headed by our President Antonina Skliarenko held the annual Members’ Meeting, in which the work accomplished in 2017 and plans for 2018 were described.
On February 21, 2018 the Public Association “Community of Pulse Producers and Customers of Ukraine” participated in the Second International Conference “Ukrainian Soya: Organic and Traditional”, which took place within the framework of the exhibition “Grain Technologies – 2018” (Kyiv).

II International Conference “Pulse. Towards the Challenges of Global Demand” – November 23, 2017
The II International Conference “Pulse. Towards the Challenges of Global Demand”, held in the business hall of the Olympic National Sports Complex by the Public Association “Community of Pulse Producers and Customers of Ukraine” with support of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine on November 23, 2017, was a logical and long-awaited continuation of the I Pulse Conference, which took place in November 2016.
Last week, the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture of the NAS of Ukraine held Field Day, where more than 300 people took part.
The goal was to be acquainted with the achievements of agrarian science in the field of selection of winter wheat, barley, corn, soya, alfalfa, peas, oil flax, winter rapeseed, safflower, sunflower and innovative technologies for their cultivation in the Institute's demonstration fields.
22.05.2017 in the Ministry of Agrarian Policy held the first meeting of the working group on improving legislation and regulations in the field of organic production and development of niche crops. 15.03.2017 on the initiative of the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the “Community of Pulse Producers and Customers of Ukraine”, as well, as with the participation of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, the Kherson Regional State Administration, a scientific and practical seminar on "Features Cultivation of grain, pulse and industrial crops in the south of Ukraine in the conditions of 2017".
On February 25, 2017, the Third International Conference "Middle East Grain Congress," held in the UAE, Dubai, an effective platform for communication and discussion of the current trends in the world market of cereals and pulses and their development in North Africa and the Middle East. January 26-28, 2017 in Kiev was the First International Congress "Organic of Ukraine 2017 Development of the organic market in Ukraine - from production to sales."

November 17, 2016 PA "Community of Pulse Producers and Customers of Ukraine" organized and held an International Conference "Pulses. Focusing on Maximum Efficiency."
This conference was held with the support of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the International Grain and Feeds Association (GAFTA), was called and became an important and large-scale event in the development of the pulse sector of the agrarian sector of Ukraine.
17 October 2016, the news Agency "Interfax" held a round table on the theme "Pulses Boom: Ukraine's Response To Change Of Global Demand”. The round table was organized by the PA Community of Pulse Producers and Customers of Ukraine.
September 7, 2016 in Odessa, the annual International Conference "BlackSeaOilTrade" was held - an effective platform for communication and discussion of the current trends in the oil and fat sector of Ukraine and the countries of the Black Sea region, which gathered more than 250 delegates from 24 countries and 150 companies.
On August 30, 2016 was held a scientific-practical seminar "Technology of cultivation of grain and technical crops under climate changes and preparing for the sowing of winter crops in the southern region" in the Institute of Irrigated Agriculture of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
On July 21-22, 2016, an international visiting scientific- practical conference "Pulse Selection and Genetics: Modern Aspects and Prospects" was held at the Ustimovskaya Research Station of Plant Production in Poltava. The purpose of this conference was to study the prospects for pulse selection, the exchange of scientific and practical experience. This topic is very important for the development of our agro-industrial complex, so Ukraine has very large areas of agricultural land for crops, but on the other hand, there are a lot of areas characterized by low moisture availability at high ambient temperatures, and pulses, especially chickpeas and lentils are highly durable
From May 25 to May 28, 2016 in Odessa, the Black Sea Hotel, the largest event of the Black Sea region took place - the 15th anniversary annual "Grain Forum & Maritime Days in Odessa 2016". Organizers united in one event the two largest conferences, which covered the problems of grain export, its transshipment and sea transportation.
June 8-11, 2016 in Kiev was XXVIII International Agro-Industrial Exhibition "AGRO-2016", which is one of the most important events in the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine. Large-scale thematic events were held within the framework of AGRO-2016: "Ukrainian Innovative Agro-Industrial Forum'16" under the patronage of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, as well as the AG Tech Forum: “High technology for agriculture." In April 20-21 in Kiev took place, the XIII International Conference "Black Sea Seed: Trade Must Go On" is the leading communication platform uniting agribusiness operators from all over the world. The conference is held annually by the consulting Agency UkrAgroConsult and this year attracted more than 600 participants from 51 countries.

February 10-12, 2016, in Kiev was held the 18th international exhibition of innovative solutions in grain business Grain tech Expo, in which we participated. In the period of the exhibition was a busy business program with the participation of well-known domestic and foreign experts of the agricultural sector.
On February 19-20, the First National Agrarian Conference "One Million Hectares" was held in Lviv. On which we - "Community of Pulses Producers and Customers of Ukraine" made a presentation on "High-protein crops in Ukraine".
27-28.11.2015 was the first in Ukraine modular educational program for managers, agronomists and engineers of the farms with an area up to 5.thousand.ha. This program was implemented by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) together with the Sumy National Agrarian University with the support of the Central European Initiative.
