17 October 2016, the news Agency "Interfax" held a round table on the theme "Pulses Boom: Ukraine's Response To Change Of Global Demand”. The round table was organized by the PA Community of Pulse Producers and Customers of Ukraine.
Participants in this discussion were: A.V. Sklyarenko (President), Sergey L. Feofilov (UkrAgroConsult), O. V. Trofimova (Deputy Minister of agrarian policy and food of Ukraine), K. Sarnecki (company VRAS, Canada), M. Malkov (FAO), the Ambassadors of Canada and India.
The main conclusions – Ukraine has a great potential to become by 2020 the weight player in the world Pulse market with a capacity of up to 1.2 – 1.5 million.
