Last week was held Ukrainian Agrarian Congress, where took part 116 companies from 22 countries.
The meeting of representatives of agrarian business of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Agrarian Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,
the Ministry of Economy and Development of Ukraine, as well as representatives of the World Food Organization (FAO) of the United Nations and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), branch agrarian associations of international organizations provided a unique opportunity to analyze the work of the government over the past year, as well as to find out the future of the agrarian sector of Ukraine.
The participants of the congress discussed the role of Ukraine in the world food market, estimated the volume of investments attracted in 2014-2015 in the framework of a panel discussion on the possibilities of investing in agribusiness, as well as the readiness of foreign investors to invest in Ukraine.
Community of Producers and Customers also took part in the discussion of these issues.
