Global problems of the agricultural industry will be considered at Agro&Food Security Forum that will be held on October 10-11, 2023, in Warsaw.
World agribusiness is constantly in the risk zone. The war between Ukraine and the Russia affected all sectors of the global economy, including agriculture and logistics, and destroyed stable food supply chains. This endangers global food security, since about 400 million people in the world depend on Ukrainian agricultural products. The situation is worsened by climate change that has already led to a decrease in harvests in countries that are key food producers.
The Forum’s sharpest questions:
- Analysis of global agricultural markets. Production of grains, oilseeds and pulses. Price trends
- Prospects of the Black Sea grain initiative
- Development of new logistics routes for food supplies, increasing role of transit routes through the EU
- Processing of agricultural raw materials as a way for creation of added value and search for new sales markets
