The Ukraine Pulse and Soybean Association (UPSA) participated in IDMA Turkey, one of the leading international exhibitions for the grain processing and milling industries. Representing Ukraine with its own exhibition stand, UPSA was the only Ukrainian exhibitor at the event.
During the two-day exhibition, held on 25–26 June, the UPSA stand welcomed around 200 representatives of international businesses. The strongest interest came from companies and organizations from Türkiye, Moldova, Syria, Lebanon, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Denmark and Kenya.
The stand featured samples of Ukrainian agricultural products, including soybeans, peas, chickpeas, lentils and beans, attracting visitors and creating opportunities to showcase the strength and export potential of Ukraine's pulse and soybean sector.
"As the only Ukrainian exhibitor at IDMA, our stand attracted significant attention throughout the exhibition. Visitors were interested not only in Ukraine itself but also in the pulse and soybean products we presented. They wanted to learn more about UPSA, how Ukraine's agricultural sector continues to operate despite the war, and the opportunities for cooperation with Ukrainian producers. We highlighted the capabilities of our member companies and reaffirmed our commitment to connecting international partners with reliable Ukrainian suppliers," said Alla Agbash, Vice President of the Ukraine Pulse and Soybean Association.
Alongside the exhibition, UPSA representatives also attended the IDMA International Forum, where industry experts and global leaders from the grain processing and food industries shared insights into current market trends, innovation and international trade. The forum provided additional opportunities for networking and developing new business partnerships.
UPSA's participation in IDMA Turkey marked another important step in promoting Ukrainian pulses and soybeans on international markets, expanding connections with potential buyers, and strengthening Ukraine's position as a reliable supplier of high-quality agricultural products.
