The Ukrainian Pulse Association held a gathering of participants to summarize the results of their work for the year 2023. The annual report was presented by Antonina Sklyarenko, the president of the Ukrainian Pulse Association.

Throughout 2023, the Ukrainian Pulse Association welcomed 19 new participants who received certificates of admission to the association. Presently, 60 organizations are members.

Association participants successfully forged fresh marketing channels via business contacts established at international forums organized by the association. In 2023, two forums, namely the Agro&Food Security Forum and AgroTransformations, were hosted in Warsaw by the association. These events, held overseas, attracted over 500 attendees from 30 different countries.

The Ukrainian Pulse Association, in collaboration with TVK Seed Agrocompany, a member of the association, organized a large-scale Field Day in Kyiv Region, attracting approximately 600 participants.

Acting as an information partner, the Ukrainian Pulse Association supported various specialized events both within Ukraine and internationally. Antonina Sklyarenko, the head of the association, presented the developments in the Pulse sector during these events.

"The global demand for Ukrainian pulses, including peas, lentils, beans, and soybeans, remains robust. However, current export challenges primarily revolve around logistics. The Ukrainian Pulse Association addresses this by organizing international forums, facilitating direct connections for Ukrainian farmers and fostering intermediary-free exports," highlighted Antonina Sklyarenko.

In 2024, the Ukrainian Pulse Association plans to sustain its advisory support to association members by participating in key global conferences and exhibitions. Notably, there are intentions to arrange a dedicated booth for Ukrainian pulse producers at Gulfood 2024.
