An important development for Ukraine’s agricultural sector and its international partners: Ukraine has restored the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food and appointed Taras Vysotskyi as Minister.

The Ukraine Pulse and Soybean Association congratulates Taras Vysotskyi on his appointment as Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

UPSA strongly welcomes the decision to restore a dedicated Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food. For Ukraine, a major agricultural country and an important contributor to global food security, having a specialised ministry is essential for developing effective agricultural policy, supporting producers and strengthening the long-term resilience and competitiveness of the sector.

We are particularly pleased that the Ministry will be headed by a highly experienced professional who has a deep understanding of Ukrainian agriculture, has worked closely with the sector for many years and has earned the respect of the agricultural community.

The Ukraine Pulse and Soybean Association highly values Taras Vysotskyi’s openness to dialogue and his consistent support for the development of Ukraine’s pulse and soybean sectors over the years.

We look forward to continuing this constructive cooperation and contributing our sector expertise to the development of policies that strengthen Ukrainian agriculture, expand value-added production and support Ukraine’s integration into international markets.

We wish Taras Vysotskyi every success in his new role and welcome the restoration of a ministry that is strategically important for Ukraine’s agricultural future.
